Lots of local groups were represented at the Lantz Fall Fun Fair, offering a day of family focused fun and information.  Our booth was right by the church in the heart of the fair and was a great location for meeting people and for selling tickets on our hand-made wood sleigh - draw Dec 11.

11th Annual CHARI-Tea Muffin Party - September 8 - Riverside United  Community Room Another successful and tasty Muffin Party was the main fare at our annual September CHARI-Tea, wrapping up our summer slow time and launching Caring & Sharing into a full Fall & Christmas season.    As always we thank all the many helpers who donated or home made muffins & other sweets for one of our favourite events.  The selection was varied and delicious.   Launched last year, our delivery/take out service was again popular, allowing lots of local business to participate in our fund raising and enjoy a morning treat, all without leaving the office.  Thanks to: - Leno’s, Sobeys, Superstore, and Tim Hortons Elmsdale for donations of items needed enabling us to have 100% profit. - All the community bakers who ensured we had sufficient muffins and to the CSAT dedicated volunteers. - Ron Hannaford & John Butt representing the Enfield Lions, Cal Sangster, Nattie Turner, Sherri Stoodly, Linda Picard and Bernice Donaldson for ensuring our 250 take out orders were delivered in a timely manner. - Maggie Hilton for calling and organizing Take out business orders, Maxine Orman for phoning for baking.    Everyone contributed to make a successful day with a 100% profit of over $1,700! It's all about the muffins...

Kitchen staffers prepping for the Tea	handling cash for teas & sales	keeping up with the demand
Tables and the room were ready early with bright flowers, cheese, jam, butter plus tea 'n coffee fixin's.	A generous array of home baked donations kept staff filling up the muffin buffet right up the start of the Tea.	When all was ready and perfect tea goers were happy to come in and tear it all apart, choosing from muffins galore.

Dec. - Scotia Bank Elmsdale branch drew for their annual Christmas Basket (filled by the

generosity of the branch staff); this year proceeds go towards two local Food Banks, including

Caring & Sharing.

Dec. 4 - Annual Corridor Christmas Parade - 2:00pm (from Elmsdale Truck Centre to Enfield Legion)

- Santa's Elves will be collecting non-perishable food items for Caring & Sharing along the route.
